The Start
We recently moved to Lancaster, so are well placed to attempt all (ok, well, maybe not all) the Wainwrights.
If we are going to walk some or all of the Wainwrights over the next couple of decades, I definitely want a record of it. Hence the blog.
We bought the map the other day and it turns out the walk we did on the 5th with the Milton gang was a Wainwright - so we are off and running. I reckon each walk deserves it's own post, so let's leave this as a kick off post, and I'll do a post for that first (and hopefully not last!) Wainwright walk.
And I always like to have at least one pic per post, so here is where we will be starting most of our walks from - our new Lancaster home - Dallas House.

Very much loving living in Lancaster so far - such a vibrant little city and so close to coast, dales, lakes & wainwrights.....
